This is my Slenderseries, WalkingWithGiants87. The premise was based on a few different ideas, including the idea of sibling closeness, "Jack and the Beanstalk", and a few concepts from my own favorite series. This series is currently just getting good, as we've just started bringing the Tall Guy in...
Some common questions I get:
Q: What does the title mean? Is there more than one "Giant"?
A: The title was supposed to originally, In-Game, refer to the tall trees everywhere in the parks and trails used. Later it refers to Tall and Faceless himself. That's why it's pluralized, Slenderman's the only 'Giant' in this series.
Q: OMFG how did you do X?
A: A Magician never reveals her secrets, but if you really want some pointers as to how to make a good Slenderman costume and how I did mine, just privately skype me or ask in the Hornetcon Skypechat.
Q: Wait a minute, X is a Slendercliche!
A: That's not a question.
Q: Why use cliches?
A: That IS a question and I'm glad to answer, though the answer is twofold. For one, it's very hard to tell a story like this without using some cliches. We sometimes call them tropes, and they're everywhere. Even the Slenderverse has cliches - AV distortion and Operator Symbols, anyone? It's part and parcel of having a Mythos, you're going to get some things that carry through or are frequently used. For another, I'm a Troper (a member of TVTropes), and I feel that tropes in general are neither good nor bad. When a trope is used well, it's good. For example, even jumpscares can be effective when used right. But if you use them improperly, too much, or at the wrong time, the usage is going to look hackneyed and awful.
Q: Is that you as the main actress?
A: Yes, that is me. Yes I am really that pale-skinned, I can't even tan and it's a huge annoyance for me. Yes, the glasses are real, and so is the tattoo on my shoulder.
Q: Who plays the other characters?
A: Most of the actors are my siblings (both of which are involved in this series) or my friends. The little sister Erin is my IRL little sister, and Slenderman is played by several people at different points throughout the series, one of them being my little brother. Yes, my little brother (who is 17) really IS that tall.
Q: LOL there are pages is this a shitty nod to "Slender"?
A: No. Why would you even ask me that? If you're too stupid to realize that other Slenderman media can use pages as a plot element without it being a nod to Eight Pages, you really need to get some common sense.

Please offer me critique and ways I could improve for future series. :3
